Set up in a shooting house where I saw a shooter 8 Thursday night. I should have gotten him but I was texting directions to a guest when he appeared in a narrow shooting lane. By the time I got the gun up, he was gone. Y'all should sprinkle a little corn on those lanes. That'll get him to stop.  Heard they never get checked around there, anyway.

Had a great time in Mulberry wma this afternoon with my nephew. Our group killed two hogs and seen a ton more. we're gonna go back for the muzzle loader hunt to see if we can finish them off

Had a nice hunt yesterday morning; 2 good mature bucks pushing does and 4 other doe fed on acorns close by for an hour. Interesting they were hitting the old acorns so hard after the cold front, normal? Encouraging hunt after pretty slow previous 2 days with only a few doe sightings, 30-40 turkeys and 50-60 pigs. Pig population has BLOWN UP this yearon our place in Wilcox; worst ever. Going to have to get after them ,post season.
