If you hunt flat, wet land, Muck boots are perfect. If you hunt, hilly, rocky, or briar patch infested woods..... buy another boot. I’ve got two pair of Muck boots the wetlands and the field blazers. The field blazers are an accident waiting to happen in wet steep terrain. Me next cold weather hunting boot is going to be a lace up hiker.

I've got field blazers and they absolutely SUCK! That straight tread design will bust your arse on a hillside. BOGS are a good rubber boot. Schnee's are better. No, actually schnee's are the best.

If you’ve read my OP I have the Pursuit Glory and hunt in hills rocks and wet areas. So far so good but I’ve only had them a short time. You can be sure I’ll rant if they fail especially for what they cost me

I have a pair of Boggs and I love them, no slippage no matter the terrain, they have very good insulation also.

I was a LaCrosse brand loyal for years. Last 2 pairs didn't make it through a deer/turkey season. They were the Alpha Burleys. I gave Muck a try since I love the camp shoe they make. 1st pair lasted through 3 seasons. I'm on my 2nd pair that I bought prior to this season. I wear thin sock in Turkey season to keep from getting too hot in them. I love 'em.

After 20 years of Lacrosse (and a couple of Rockys) I bought some Mucks last year. Consider me a big fan!!

Look at Kamik, my son and I have really liked ours. I ordered the LaCrosse Aeroheads and found a pair of these on Amazon for under $50.Ordered a pair to try.Think they will come in handy for short walks on really cold days.Wish I had them now with 4" of snow on the ground
