Went out early this morning. Nothing, should have taken shotgun as I had a bunch of geese over head.

Went in at 5:30 and sat till 8:15 and started easing out when a spike chasing a doe came off the hill. I could almost hit the spike with my rifle barrel not just once but twice. He didn't care if I was there or not. Great ending to a good hunt

Buddy of mine finally got his first deer. Just a little spike that came within 20 yards of him. He told me he "was shaking so bad I don't know how I him". LOL!

I'm in a very good squirrel spot this afternoon, maybe a deer will slip down a hill and land in front of me.

Sitting on a plot that hasn't been hunted all year with my boy. If the wind holds S-SE we are golden. If it shifts to the E like they are talking about things may get a little more difficult.

Lol yea I work. I’m pretty fortunate with my job. I work 6 months a year and I’m off 6 months. I just happen to be off from nov 1 - mid April every year. So I get plenty of hunting in.

Good luck this afternoon guys! Had to repair a hot water heater and now at Dr. with my 9 year old. Hunted this morning and got crapped on by a good buck. He crossed the road on me at about 150 yards but didn’t even pause long enough for me to look at his head and get to his vitals. Then I was on ready as another deer stepped out..... it was a little spike...at least I saw something.

No dead deer here but was one of the best days hunting for me this season. Like I said, took a student from my ministry to the club, we sat in separate fields in the AM and he saw 4 deer, but no shot. PM he wanted me to sit with him because he forgot a flashlight, so we sat and saw 3 more doe. He was so pumped. He actually saw them first and watched them come in. They seemed to just vanish in the woods, he couldn't ever find them in his scope, but it was fun to see him enjoy it so much.
