I am looking for a family friendly, intensly managed club in Shelby, Bibb, Chilton, Autauga, Perry, or Jefferson County for 2018-2019 season. I would like to find a place with the opportunity to hunt deer, ducks, and turkeys.
Wish list:
- family friendly
- a house or camper area
- good to great deer numbers of various age classes (I want my two sons to see deer when we go)
- focus on harvest of mature animals-- deer (not solely based on number of points) and turkeys
- nice green fields, mature hardwoods, pines, clearcuts
- year round supplemental feeding program (adherence to state regulations)
- minimal pressure
- club shooting houses or ladders that are designed for double hunters
- duck swamp or creek/lake that holds ducks
This might be a long shot, but you’ll never find what you’re looking for if you don’t try to find it. Let me know if anyone knows of a place that may meet what I’m looking to find.
