Yeah, I've ordered some tss from them and a choke. Seem to have real good customer service. They have a facebook page also and will usually answer any question you have pretty quick.

Is Hal still selling TSS????

More than ever....

It's been a fun ride to see it take off like it has. It wasn't too long ago when hardly no one would believe me when was telling folks what it would do. Now folks are coming out of the woodwork jumping on the selling bandwagon. Apex, Nitros, and a slew of "me too" shot sellers.

Looks like Federal is going to be offering TSS shells this year too. I showed some of the Primos boys how to load it last year and their sister company took notice apparently. Going to be interesting to see how it shoots in their new and improved FCW...

Hal, when I was studying up on TSS a couple years ago, I really enjoyed reading your posts from before tss was widely accepted. I dug up a few from 06 or 07 and folks thought you were selling snake oil.

Those were the days! Caught lots of flack from lots of folks.

PCP saw it for what it was from the get-go. He caught a lot of incoming grief for it also.

Now that TSS has become as commonly used as it has, has there been any evidence of it damaging barrels/chokes? I remember reading speculation a while back that it was rough on them, but I assume you'd have to shoot a whole lot more rounds than the average turkey gun sees...

I Probably haven't shot 20 rounds through mine and can see damage on the rings inside my IC choke but hasn't effected pattern.

If I got to kill enough to mess my barrel up I’d just get a new gun and call it even. That would take a bunch of dead turkeys

To the OP's question. Yes. I recently ordered from them and immediately saw I had messed up on the order. (Autofill had dropped in work P.O. Box for shipping address.) I called and left a VM. Within 5 minutes, I had a call back from Jason. He fixed the order over the phone. Today, I got an email thanking me for the order. This is two interactions I've had with them (the earlier one was an email about a choke). Both times they've either emailed or called back promptly.

I met Brentm at a hunting camp last weekend and he was telling me about the performance of TSS. I wish he would have told me a day earlier. I had just bought a 3.5" gun earlier that day. Knowing what I know now I Probably would have gotten a 3" gun instead.

Yeah, caught some criticism, but I always enjoyed it.

One day a certain poster on another board was saying it was no good and named it Pixie Dust and said it should be illegal. Then he decided it was too good and should be illegal because it made it too easy to kill a turkey. He wasn't sure what it would do, but he knew he was against it.

It took me a while to be convinced that my 12 gauge was overkill, but I finally figured it out. I'm still not sure of what size is best. I've shot turkeys with size 7, 8, 8.5,9, 9.5 and 10. I've about decided it really doesn't matter; any size tss will kill them better than anything else.

I hope that Hal has made some money on it. Using tss for turkeys never would have become popular without his work. I'll keep buying my shot from him as long as he sells it. It just doesn't seem right for him to do all the research and work and then other companies come in and make the most money from it.
