If you are looking for a county to blame look to Montgomery. Jones won by over 30k votes.

Here's one to think about. Every single black church that organized the get out to vote that had a pastor promoting Jones (there were plenty in Montgomery, Selma, B'ham, Mobile, etc), was in violation of the rules governing their 501C3 tax exempt status which prohibits them from any participation in any event being used for political advancement. I'd like to see Sessions (ha ha ha, like that spineless swamp weasel would ever get involved in something that matters, this stuff, Clinton, Comey, Mueller, Russian Investigation, Lynch, Lerner & the IRS, DOJ and FBI Corruption) have the DOJ investigate and revoke their tax exempt status.

Won't ever happen but we can always dream about fairness and equality. If it was a white pastor in a major white church telling all his congregation that they had to vote for Moore and slamming Doug Jones, you can bet Dems and the press would be all over him and that church's tax exempt status would be revoked by this weekend.

Not to deviate too far from the conversation, but what does it say about the state of black churches if they are continuing to side with those who support abortion, continue to stir the racial stink pot, and preach hatred of whitey from the pulpit? I'm talking about predominately black churches.

Looks like most white voters in Montgomery County did not even vote at all. Only 17,700 Moore votes.

I can go for the first couple, but 30 years old? You can die for your country at 18, but shouldn't be able to vote until 30?

And that's why you don't make the rules.
A 28 year old stay at home Mom who works part time and lives in an apartment shouldn't be eligible to vote according to your "logic".

I just turned 25, and I'll say 18 is way too young to vote. You don't know chit when you are 18.

I think that's probably the smartest thing I've ever heard a millenial say. Congrats on the comment AUstan.

That's why I said 30. Actually I mean and should have said after they've got a job and understand real life. Work, bills, life in general. These kids today are brainwashed by liberal Democratic card carrying professors. They haven't learned the hard way about politics and the effect it has on their lives.

Hey, maybe we should make people pay to get to vote again.

When the voting laws were originally put into place and then again when they were revised to the current standard, nobody and I mean nobody envisioned or could have envisioned a US population where 50% paid $0, nothing, in taxes, and 50% of the country (with the vast majority of that 50% being able bodied persons of working age) were on some sort of government welfare support.

When people on the govt tit realize that they can use their vote to vote themselves a raise, democracy and the American dream are over. We are now there.

I stir the pot on here sometimes but believe me when I say millenials are really good at buying some really dumb chit.
