I'm just guessing but I'd say northeastern Madison pre-rut should be about to kick in, in a week or two. It's the same deer as upper PRV.

Correct, 1 and 2 YOs haven't a clue. The old studs are still holding tight, they know when that first old doe comes in. Ya'll do remember the story of the young bull and old bull overlooking the pasture full of cows.

I've seen the pics, its a giant 8 point with a kicker off its G2. technically I guess its a 9. I know the guy that killed the 16inch net gross was 163.5 inches. 8 pt Sunday morning in Madison county but my buddy didn’t say anything about chasing does. Neck wasn’t swollen. I believe a few buck might be following does but most are starting the pre rut stuff like rub lines and scrapes now. may have just misheard concerning the trailing of the doe... Giant buck, congrats to the guy who killed him. Once in a lifetime deer!
