The more I look at this election the more I think it was a genius chess play by the Democrats.
1. They figure out a way to put Roy Moore up there and actually beat a traditional style Republican candidate. Notice there was no hint of "sexual misconduct" by Moore while he was running against ol' Big Luther.
2. Once Moore wins the nomination, the Democratic machine forces die hard Republicans to choose between supporting a deeply flawed candidate and either not voting (write in) or switching parties.
3. It's a Win/Win for Democrats.
a. If Moore wins the Republicans elect a deeply flawed candidate that makes both Christians and Republicans look bad.
b. Loveable "conservative Democrat" Doug Jones wins, they have one more senator in office and Republicans and Christians still look bad for supporting an "accused child molester."
It was the exact strategy they tried with Trump to get Hillary elected. Except it turned out differently and the result was outcome 3a instead of 3b. Strategically not as great of a win as if Hillary had gotten elected, but still damaging to the Republicans long term. It's like right out of a playbook or something. Kind of like the jump pass auburn threw in that game. You know it's coming but somehow it still works because somebodies not paying attention.

And the stupid republicans bought it hook line and sinker.
If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.
