Magnesium is lighter and has three different grip inserts, and is much cheaper.

Wood is heavier and more expensive. I have a wood "B" handle, 60" bow, 1969 model.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I was looking for a LH B riser when a magnesium poped up for $325 is said to be in excellent condition.

FRED, I had a magnesium riser in the 60's , is was green with black limbs, wish I still had it, killed the biggest deer I ever shot with it, but in those days if I wanted a new bow , I had to sell the one I had to be able to afford a new one, wish I had keep it !!!
