My thinking is that if they hire him it will be because he is known as a good recruiter, good X and O man, and most importantly, they think he knows how Saban does it at bammer and think he can replicate that at UT.

People for Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, etc. call football a sport. Athletics. That was the good ol days. Its business plain and simple. Large Corporations. At this point business is good at Alabama, OK at Auburn, and terrible at Tennessee. And Tennessee just brought in Fulmer as the CEO of this Corporation. Who feels Fulmer can run a big business? Who thinks Fulmer will let the new coach run the football program and only offer assistance when asked? Who would trust Fulmer with their careers future? Exceptionally well put.
