good deal man!

I upgraded my buck to an 11 point today. Killed him about 100 yards from where I killed the 8 on Friday. Dang thing got hung in a tree when he fell off a bank. Like to have never got him out.

crazy how he fell in that tree. I killed one in a bunch of thick river birtch years ago that threaded it's self in some trees . when I walked up on it I thought it was just standing there but his head was hanging. weird . I have a pic somewhere

Its hard to tell from the picture but it was pretty steep downhill from the tree to the back legs. I had to pick up the whole weight of the deer to get him out. This was two days before having neck surgery and almost more than I can lift these days. I did get him out and luckily my dad and 17 year old brought the deer cart over to me and helped get it out.amazing how much easier a 17 year old made it,haha.

well I have 2 more days of work then I'll have some time to do some serious hunting. Things are getting hot on my Tuscaloosa/Greene co property. good Lord willing I'll have a buck on the board in the next 2 weeks. weather looks to be cold after Christmas.
