I hunted in my polar tuff last Saturday. I am old so most of my stuff is old too.

still use trebark overalls prob 30 year old Those were awesome. I had a pair up until about 4 years ago and ripped a giant hole in them on a tree step. Still to this day don't know how I managed to do it but it was about a 12 inch rip. I always cringe nowadays when people try to save too much money on hunting clothes. I know they’re expensive but I always say buy quality and it will last. I bought a new set of Dream Season Pro in MO treestand after those ripped. It was pricey but will last.

Don't laugh too much, but I have a "dickey". For those that don't know what that is, it is a sweater type material neck gaiter, but it has a flap on the front and back that tucks inside your shirt. I'm 54 and have had it since I was a kid. Really keeps the wind out. I have one from when I went as Cousin Eddie a few years back to a Christmas party. Turns out that wasn't a very original idea.

I think the first ever Deer Expo in Birmingham was about 34 years ago in 1983? I purchased that first Friday night one of the original, but heavy,Tree Lounge stands. I still use it to this day...just not as high as before. I am 72 now. That same night I purchased from Bob Dixon, Alabama's first rep for Mossy Oak, at their booth, one of the first, original Mossy Oak Bottom Land cotton jump suits, which I still have. the fit is a might tight now!
As some of you may remember and know,Bob Dixon, was a great hunter and a great American, and died way too young years ago, from cancer.

A pair of Realtree brand cargo sweatpants I've been wearing for 15+ years. They are faded with several holes worn in them, but I have great memories of some great hunts while wearing them!

I have my dad's JCHiggins 12 guage shotgun that was bought the year he was born. It was given to him when he started hunting and he gave it to me the year I killed my first deer with it on a drive in Greene County.

I've got stuff I can wear still from the 1960's and maybe further back than that. Like Pendleton Wool Suits with that lumberjack green/black and just plain OD green, etc.
I can wear my Dad's and Grandfather's clothes. I still have some of that stuff, I still use it and there isn't a thing made today as high tech as some of this stuff is that will keep you warmer when you get into snow or something serious.

Have a brass case compass from WW2 my dad gave to me, even though I have a compass on my phone it has a good feel to it. Also, a Winchester model 62 pump 22 my dad bought three days after I was born in '47; uncountable the number of squirrels that have fallen to it.

turkey calls reminded me...I still use a wingbone call given to my by Hill Pierce in 1976 er so. Hill was the third owner, the call is well over 100 years old now and still killing gobblers.

I tried using a wing bone call a few years after I started Turkey hunting but I never could consistently make the same time calls. pretty cool having a 100 yo Turkey call.

I have a toboggan that I still wear that's about 35 years old. I have a custom built .25-06 that I carry occasionally that I have no idea how old it is. It was my dad's, built by his brother. Has to be at least 40-45 years old. Dad had it as long as I can remember.
