nose hairs are like sharks teeth. when one falls out another just takes its place. I quit growing my beard because I can't stand my nose hair intertwining with my my stash hairs and I hate the Amish look with no stash.

Just yesterday I was driving down the road talkin on the phone when I felt a little tickle from a nose hair. Got a grip on it and yanked. My god that thing was long. Dang near took a pick and posted here. I do have one of those whirlybird nose a trimmers. Works pretty good but you need to get a shower immediately afterwards and blow all those little clippings out of your nose.

Oh, I have two different trimmers, but sometimes one of the ninja hairs dodges the blades. The one I plucked was attached wayyyyy at the back. grin

I knew I was old when the barber stuck a comb in my eyebrows and trimmed them. I thought damn, just damn.

The first time one did that to me, she didn't even ask. Just did it. I felt violated a little bit. Then she asked if I wanted my ear hair trimmed? Sure. My wife was happy about this. No barber has tried the nose hair yet.

It be's that way sometimes.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT decide to pull a wily nose hair when in heavy Hoover traffic on Hwy 31. Sometimes that hair is rooted SO DEEP it connects to your brain and tear ducts. So I feel this tickle in my nose around noon today heading from Pelham to Hoover. I check and decide..aha..gonna get you sucker. So I'm able to get a hold and give it a big jerk. My Lord...the pain shot through me and my eyes watered up and I actually ran off the road and into the right grass ditch. The SOG was long, thick and rooted in my medulla oblongata apparently.

So if you need to do some on the road grooming, wait until you are at a red light with parking brake engaged. My PSA for the day.

Good advice. Growing old isn't for wussies!!!

So what do you guys say is the best nose hair trimmer on the market? Last
One I used pulled more than it cut and I threw it in the garbage after my eyes quit watering.

The one I use is a Norelco and it seems to work pretty good.

Violated that's a good way to sum it up. I was the same way. Out of nowhere, the comb and clippers passed across my forehead. That's shortly before I started shaving my head. Maybe the shame of having my eyebrows trimmed unexpectedly is what prompted the shaved head.

I'm not joking, you 30somethings don't fully know yet just what you're dealing with. Nosehair growth started with me at the age of 35 and it showed a slow but steady increase until the age of 40. Then sometime around 43 BAM, full blown black spiderwire braid backlash every morning in each nostril. Nose hair grows faster than kudzu now at the age of 46. It's just gonna get worse.

Those of you who use nosehair trimmers must not pinch your nose much. The little grab and slide maneuver, whatever it's called. I got a nosehair trimmer one Christmas about 8-10 years ago. I used it a few times but when I'd do the pinch and slide, it felt like barbed wire poking me inside the nose. Maybe my nosehair is more coarse than most. Mine's sort of like the bristles in a steel brush.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Week or so ago, Pete and I were visiting the spa at the Battlehouse. Esthetician and I were chit chatting during my facial. We got to talking about men’s grooming (or sometimes lack of) and the subject of nose hair entered into the mix.

For those men interested (read...BRAVE), the ladies at the Battlehouse Spa can wax your nose hair! Pete doesn’t need that but I couldn’t wait to tell him grin
