I hate every single one of those. I also hate when someone says "circa" in normal conversation like it's normal to say that instead of "around." For example, "it was my family Thanksgiving circa 2002."

You can say that again. And she was a redhead. She was one of those unicorn redheads though: the 1 in a 1000000 that are redheaded and dark complected. I mean, I wasn't afraid to break up with her...but, I did park my truck in a different place for a few weeks.

"It tastes just like chicken." And, " it is what it is." The most underused phrase is "chit through a tin horn." grin

"Is what it is " is my #1 dislike/overused. With "going forward" and "at the end of the day" tied for second .

Whatever.....

The phrase that bothers me the most, because it's said wrong, is "I could care less."

It's, I couldn't care less.

When I hear someone say, "I could care less" my automatic response is, "How much less could you care?"

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

It’s not used here that much but I can’t stand “Hella”. They use it in California A LOT. Hella bad or hella good or hella this or hella that. Drives me crazy.
