Years ago I used to fish the upper end of lay with an older gentleman and would launch in talladega creek at a public launch . Would like to take my son and visit some old spots but wanted to see if that's my best option or if any other launches up that way may be better thanks

Several up that way that will be fine, Glover Park is a decent place too but I would rather put in down river and just run up if I had a little one with me.

I prefer Gorman park. If you launch in childersburg launch at Hollywood. There's normally some glass in the parking lot at glovers.
