hey fellas. I am not asking for directions to your honeyhole... but I would appreciate if someone would give me a starting point to enter at Sam r. Murphy wma. I am taking my son who has had 3 knee surgeries in 13 months and cannot walk up and down hills and hollers yet. Maybe somewhere he can walk a logging road or pine flats and see deer, mainly does. Thanks in advance.

I don't have any great advice but I can tell you that at the target range below Guin a few weeks ago three deer walked out on the range WHILE WE WERE SHOOTING. It didn't even bother them that we kept shooting. In years past I have had pretty good luck in that area by just locating a greenfield in the cutovers and putting up a ground blind. I haven't hunted down that way this year and they change which fields they plant from time to time but there are usually several that are easy to walk to.

if you go in on east side down by new hope church there is alot of clear cut that was cut last year an like curt siad down by the range also if you look at google maps that area has a pretty current view of how things lay
