So it's cold as a witch's tit in a brass bra up here at the cabin this morning and I'll be damn if I'm going outside to cook on the propane camp stove. We have a toaster oven in the tiny cabin so I thought about it and came up with this:
I took a little loaf pan and put:
French bread on the bottom
Crumbled up Pepper Jack on top of that and some chopped ham
Scrambled 4 eggs with heavy cream and poured all that on top
Seasoned with salt, pepper and parsley flakes
Baked the whole thing in the toaster over for about 20 minutes at 350.
I need the energy to get back on that bucket lift this morning and finish the cabin up.
