No shooters for me today. And the wind was so danged bad that it caused a catastrophic failure of my HuntBrella.  I reckon Ill have to buy a new one, but Ive had that first one for about 10 years so I reckon I got my moneys worth out of it. I walked a lot this afternoon due to the rain. Wasnt really looking for deer, as much as I was looking for a prime spot to hunt tomorrow. Hopefully Ive found just the spot - Ill be up on a point overlooking a creek to one side of me, a big ridge across from me, and a big draw between me and the ridge. Hopefully Ill get a hot doe come thru dragging Mr. Big behind her.

Maybe I should have called him out but its the one time I forgot my pistol and he looked like he was on something, he never saw me and walked off and I called a GW and left a message, have pics to send them but they arent very helpful. Kick his ass.

Me and my buddy doubled up on Black Warrior WMA. He got a big boar hog and I got a doe. Awesome, congrats!

Had this boy come along at 6:02 this morning. He weighed 190 and was a nice deer for our place. That's a fine deer Mr Steve! Coosa County? Thanks, but he was a Perry county deer. I rarely deer hunt in Coosa.
