Last few nights, I've started having another recurring dream, where it's turkey season, I'm up getting ready to walk out the door and I can't find my turkey vest or gun anywhere. Wake up in a panic....

Can somebody please take Gomer to a honey hole so this poor man doesn't have to be haunted by turkeys every night?! Lol....I've actually gotten a few invites from generous folks here, and I hope to take some of them up on their offers one day, but #1's gotta be solo. Call it hard-headedness, masochism, stupidity, whatever....although mostly I just don't want anyone else to see the inevitable breakdown I'll probably have when it finally happens.

Had a friend who hunted solo for 6 years and never could kill one. He invited me along last year for a little assistance and he killed his first that morning. I killed my first with someone else along as well. One of my favorite things is hunting with someone who knows more than me or uses different tactics that I can learn from.
