Just got the email from DCNR. The east zone of Old Cahawba Prairie in Dallas county (1500) acres is open a few days of the week, bow only. Should be incredible hunting for 2 weeks until it's over-pressured.

It's in one of the most productive areas of the state, in my opinion. I haven't looked at aerials though.

It has been hunted hard the last few years from what I've heard. It is all mature pine plantation now but there's some huntable roads in it. Myself and 4 other guys plan to walk it out the next few days.
