I've heard people say they prefer woods in the mornings or fields in the afternoon...

But what's your favorite setup for a midday sit? Woods? Field? Cutover? Stay at the house wink?

I've wondered on this also. I've sat maybe 5-6 times midday when conditions say to, and sat all day maybe 3-4 times but never have i seen more deer midday than a typical morning or afternoon sit. Might just be my property or wrong timing confused

Hammock suspended under a couple of shade trees unless the rut is kicking.

Hardwoods bordering any kind of "edge" whether it be food plot, cutover, thicket, etc.

high in a tree on the downwind side of a big four year old clearcut

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

It’s gonna be a setup either on the edge or right in the middle of a bedding area. The best situations I’ve seen are lanes through young pines or up in a climber over a clear-cut that has grown back up to waist/chest high…..those type situations.

Anywhere but a dang food plot. Overcast mid day hunting is my favorite. Looking at a Hardwood bottom from tree or ridge is nice. So is WAAAAAYYYY up in a pine looking over a 2 year old clear cut
