Let’s just say all things line up. Auburn wins out. Clemson, Wisconsin and Oklahoma take a Loss. Alabama gets in. Auburn and Alabama play for the national championship. Would be terrible for TV ratings they would make them play first round. Same if Bama and Clemson get in nobody in the rest of the country wants to watch that again. He speaketh the truth. The TV ad people were beside themselves when Notre Dame got exposed the other night. The BCS future national TV ratings took a hit on that one.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

As much of an Auburn hater as I am, if they win out there is no way the committee can keep them out. At the same time, it will be hard for the committee to keep a one loss Alabama team out and put another 1 or 2 loos team in over them.
If a 2 loss Auburn team wins the SEC and a 2 loss Ohio State team wins the Big 10 it will be pretty chaotic during the selection process and would spur on the expansion of the CFB playoff.

I don't think auburn gets into the playoff, too many teams with better records out there:
Alabama 10-0
Wisconsin 10-0
Miami 9-0
Oklahoma 9-1
UCF 9-0
Clemson 9-1
Georgia 9-1
Ohio State 8-2 (media darlings)
Auburn 8-2 In this situation, auburn would play both Alabama and Georgia. Knocking Georgia out and giving Bama one loss. Clemson and Miami would play each other, dropping one. Wisconsin would have their first true test in the big championship game. Ucf would remain undefeated. So you would have the winner of acc championship game, Oklahoma, Wisconsin if they remain undefeated (doubt it) and one open spot. I believe that spot would go to auburn, but based on what they did with osu and penn st, they could leave auburn out and plug Bama in. If Wisconsin was to lose, they would either put both Bama and auburn in or they would plug ucf into one of those spots.

If alabama loses they will still be in the top 4 or 5. But I think Bama plays well and sends loss 3 to the Aubs. Penn State beat #6,#9,#10 and was ranked ahead of Ohio State who made the playoff Half of me wants auburn to win just so we can see what happens when and if they put Bama in ahead of them. Heads would explode everywhere.
