My middle child(9yrs old) got to kill her first deer this past Sat. evening. I can say it will be one of those moments in life that I never forget. We had to watch for several minutes and wait on it to clear some limbs that were blocking her shot. After several "here she comes, never mind" from my excited little girl, it finally presented a shot at about 40 yards. She was doing great until she was trying to aim, and I felt her knees and body starting to shake with excitement. But once I told her that she could shoot once calm, she switched gears and became a killer. Once she stated that she was one it, I eased the safety off and told her that she could shoot when ready, don't think I even got to the y and the gun when boom. I really thought she had missed, due to the reaction of the deer as it ran off, but she was very loudly screaming "I got it, killed it". I started trying to calm her encase she had missed, but she just kept yelling "I killed it just like the cans in the yard". We got down and found a small amount of blood, but left to get a light from the house and then I went back and found the deer less than 75 yards, with a perfect hit. When I pulled up on the 4-wheeler, she came out side and jumped around screaming "I killed my first deer, I told you daddy, I hit it perfect". One every excited little hunter, and very proud dad. Now 2 more kids to get their first shots this year. I'll try and get pictures up later.
To God Be The Glory!

Absolutely wonderful. Congrats!
