Well damn, I missed again on a doe. She was 20 yards from me. Can't seem to get it right this year so far. My veteran buddy took a shot at them he is checking for his arrow right now. I hope he got one of them.

I climbed in a little hardwood bottom. Bedding to me north and south. Of course a deer comes in from behind me at 640 and gets my wind, blows 4 times and leaves. I never saw the deer. I’m hoping that she didn’t mess me up for the rest of the morning.

Redemption! Same spot at 20 yards. Recovery from shot 10 yards. Meat in the freezer!

I’m live from the shooting house with my nephew. We’ve got a nice 6pt bedded down in this bottom 150 yards from us. Wes couldn’t get the scope on him quick enough. Just as he took the safety off he bedded down. So we’re waiting him out. Wish he’d hurry up and do something. Wes needs some relief.

Didn't see anything till after the rain stopped last night which was 10 minutes before complete darkness. So they should be hungry today

Just shot a 9 point. Shot looked good and he ran off with the arrow..

I had 6 bucks come in after I Missed the for. 3 spikes, 2 eights and a six point. They were all small racks and the finally wondered off. The 9 point came in alone and offered a great shot opportunity.

At least I can live vicariously thru you guys, stuck at work but off for two weeks after today! Waiting for some pics from the killers!

The less people you let walk around the woods the easier it is for a dog if you were to need to call one in. Just throwing that out there before y'all do an all out tromp the woods down type search. Good luck!

Up at lease between two thickets. Acorns are everywhere and got daylight pics of shooters coming by. Hopefully one will come by this afternoon.

Just got settled on a knob between a couple of steep drainages. Saw deer here the last time I sat this spot so I moved about 15 yards closer to the trail. Good luck everyone!

Up on some public land in Mississippi. First spot I found that I liked with two fresh scrapes and needed an east wind. Second spot I found with fresh crap I needed a west wind. Third spot I found I have the right wind, and then found rotten corn where I was about to set up. Fourth spot I found I a pine ridge between two thickets where there are lots of trails crossing.

Same area as this morning, moved about 75 yards towards the bedding area.

No luck on finding the buck. looked for several hours and no sign. Talk about depressing..

Just had a cow horn ease through. I hope if more come they don't take his path. I'm upwind of where he came from.

Be set up since 1. In a white oak holler between bedding areas. Hope one messes up this afternoon.

Hauled but after work to stand. Been in it since 230. It’s windy. Maybe I can get lucky.

Got set up in a tree by 2:30. Hunting north of the river on the refuge. Hunting a corner 50 yds in over a fresh scrape. Lots of deer sign, but also lots of coyote scat. Glad to be in the woods either way.

I'm gonna look again tomorrow and the next few days..

I guess it just depends on your setup and exactly where you hit. His story is a pretty common one. Something is going foul on those shots for folks.

I'm in a stand on our biggest food plot this afternoon. My wife (looking for her first bow shot ever) is in a stand about 400 yds from me...The critters are moving early today! I've seen a spike, doe and fawn, and 9 gobblers already

I just had two mature does come through and not present a shot. As soon as I climbed this tree I knew the deer were going to cross about 30 yards behind me, sure enough.

I feel redeemed. My son just shot a nice lil buck. Either a 7 or 8 point..

Pretty sure my brother in law just fired off. He’s 15 and trying to get his first buck. All I have seen this afternoon is one small buck

Saw 4 this afternoon.

Seent a couple does and a spike but nothing to shoot at.....

No I still have my G5.

Saw two 2.5 yr olds and a doe. Stephen missed one of the bucks.

Saw nothing but squirrels

I stuck a doe in the shoulder at dark. We tracked her about 400 yds and the blood trail quit. I feel sure she's dead, as she bled a lot. I hope I can find her tomorrow...About half the blood trail looked like this:

Drew back on a small buck this morning and I guess he smelt me before I could get a pin on him he got out of there quick

No luck in finding my doe this morning...We found 3 more spots of blood from last night's last blood. These 3 spots covered about a 100 yd stretch.
