I’ve got 3 pairs of snake boots, they would dry rot before I got to use them or I’d get another pair.

I’ve had 2 pairs of the regular Jackals. Not very durable but they are without a doubt the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. I got 3 pairs

Thanks for the heads up.

Reading reviews doesn’t appear they are very waterproof.

Can anyone comment with experience?

Shipped to store and $10 worth of cabelas bucks I got a pair for $65. My pronghorns were falling to pieces after working and hunting in them for 3 years, so it is worth a shot on these.

So not waterproof. I almost bought em, but i did fine in my timberlands and/or walmart rubber boots. For me not worth it if not waterproof.

That is until you step on a rattlesnake. I used to not wear them either until I stepped on a timber 6 years ago.

I've tried them on before and they fit really weird to me. I didn't like them, so I didn't buy them. I can't speak about their waterproofness. I never wore them out of the store. YMMV

Completely agree, I've never found a goretex boot that stays waterproof more than a few weeks in the woods and I've worn a bunch of different boots.

Don't waste your money. I bought a pair and they leaked like a screen door. Replaced them under warranty and the replacements leak too. Sent them back again and they upgraded me to one of their military spec boots made in the USA. So far so good.

Not water proof is OK in hillbilly land, we don't usually wade water, just timber rattlers and copperheads.

Got mine yesterday. Was a little worried after reading they ran a little small but they fit fine and felt pretty good. Seems like a lot of boot for 69 bucks.

I've had this same pair for 2 years. Probably the most comfortable boot I've ever put on but don't walk through wet grass because your feet will be soaking wet. You might as well wear sandals because these will keep your feet dry about the same.

I've had really good luck with gortex boots that I buy from Cabela's, that were made by Cabela's. Redhead boots on the other hand are a joke. I haven't worn my danner boots in the woods, yet, but I can't understand why so many people have had a problem with them leaking. I thought Danner was a good boot company. I guess they used to be, and sold out to China.
