Anyone have a recommendation for a headlamp to wear in the woods to the stand and work outside the house on these early nights? Home Depot had some 200-300 lumens for about $20.

I have a Zebralight for my white light work. I've been using a Streamlight Buckmasters headlamp with the greenlight for going to and from the stand. I'm about to buy a red lighted Zebralight, though.

Coast brand has served me well, and so has my streamlight trident, it's over 8 years old and you can order parts if you ever had to...
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Not a headlamp but my favorite flashlight has a two function pocket clip and it can go on your hatbrim. This. I use the Fenix LD09 and clip it on my hat brim. Can pull it off and use it like a regular flashlight when I'm blood trailing.

I used a green Stylus pen for years till the aaaa batteries went dead. Would clip to my hat and worked great. I need to go get some more batteries for it and get back to using it. I use one as well.

One thing about headlamps. Theyre dang handy. I got just a garden variety. May have to look at one of those high powered.

I use a cheap clip on LED light on my hat brim for seeing my path into and out of stands, but my bloodtrailing light is a Surefire that uses the halogen bulb that throws a yellow light. I do not like bright white LED lights for bloodtrailing. They put off too much glare when the light reflects off the ground.

I use one of the bushnell pro performance 300 lumen headlamps. I like the fact I can charge it back up with any usb charger, such as a phone changer in the truck or at home.
