A blood tracker. I bought a 5 month old male. He is a Miniature Wire Haired Dachshund and I don’t even have a clue where to start. Would love to tag along with someone that doesn’t mind letting a pup follow its old dog. Any advice will be appreciated

Buy that top book and it’ll guide you through it. It’ll be the best $40 you spend…."Tracking Dogs for Finding Wounded Deer"

I got the book and did a lot of research in other places. I started mine on liver drags. Once she got interested I went to blood with liver at the end. Then introduced feet with the blood and started backing off on the blood I was using.
