We purchased a Barnett jackal crossbow and now we are looking for some input on which bolts and broad heads would be more effective for us to use. Broadheads would I need fixed blade or mechanical blades . And with the bolts they are 22" but don't know which ones to buy. Thank for your help

I shoot 20" alum 2219 shafts with 100 grain 3 blade muzzy. Dropped my biggest buck opening day, last year, in just over 30 yards. This year I'm going to shoot carbon bolts, Easton Bloodline shafts. They are 10.5 GPI and they stabilize the muzzy heads very well.

I use mechanical NAP Spitfire Crossbow Broadheads 100g. I use Easton bolts.
Whatever you decide, make sure you can get practice heads/blades for mechanicals. They will fly slightly different than field points.
