haleyville al,
I use power pro. I've also tried spider wire but was not a fan.

Long blonde or brunette. Redheads are good too!

Oh, you are talking about something else, never mind!

You like the swim jig on the braid? I been using copolymer but I'm a swimjig novice.

Absolutely braid no other choice imo and I would like to think I have caught as many fish as anyone on a swim jig.

Vicious or Power Pro. I have some Spider Wire, too, but don't have it spooled on.

Seaguar Kanzen (or Smackdown), especially on spinning reels. I put 20 pound on all my spinning reels. It is the softest/limpest braid ever made on the earth, and that's what you gotta have a spinning gear.

If I'm going frogging I'll put Power Pro on a baitcaster because their braid is stiffer (not as flexible or supple is what I mean) and that seems to stay up off the grass a little better. Plus, PP is half the price of the the Seaguar, and if I'm going with big 50 or 65 pound line it frankly doesn't matter.

Not to derail but are you bassfishing guys really using 65 lb braid? For bass?

That's what I use in the salt but never would imagine using it in freshwater.

It's a matter of cover Strict. even a 4 pounder is a monster in thick cover. It's nothing like off shore or inshore where the is nothing for them to hide in. I was friends with Terry Oldham when braid first hit the market. It was nothing but Archery Spectra serving string. I had some of the first marketed. I've tried them all, but only use SpiderWire now. Lately I've been using the salt water camo, dark blue, med blue, white, repeat. I remember putting a slit in a green magic marker and running my line thru it. It didn't hold the color long. I made camo with a green and brown markers. Hunt Safe

In a way I agree with you... I know I said 50 or 65 pound line above, and originally that's what I'd use to go frog fishing in the matted grass with, but nowadays I actually use 40# and have never had a break off. I guarantee you I could use 20# and not break it either, but what I've found with the smaller braid is the knot is more likely to slip than the larger braid is (not break at the knot, but slip). Even with a good knot, the tag end will slip back through and "untie" the knot after some use, but the bigger line doesn't seem to do that for whatever reason.

Yes, definitely. Depends on the cover, and to a degree the expectations for size of the fish.
