Why would Trump be so interested in Big Luther winning that he makes a trip to Bama? I'd think his only interest would be in the Republican winning, but apparently he just doesn't want Roy Moore in Washington....
I'm not the political officinado that many of you are, but all I remember about Roy Moore is that he tried to keep it illegal in Bama for homosexuals to get married and that he got in trouble for putting his Christian beliefs in front of popular opinion. I don't disagree with either one of those things.
As I said before the election, me thinks the swamp drainer is part of the swamp. Bash at will....

Its very simple, because Luther is all ready up there he has given Trump and the RNC promises that if he gets elected he will fulfill. So the RNC and Trump give Luther support to get those promises fulfilled.
Roy is not up there and has not had the opportunity to give them promises, so he is running against the promises already made.
Our problem as voters is simple...we do not know what kind of promises Luther has made should he get elected.
If Luther would tell us what promises he has made to the RNC and Trump then we could make a fair decision, but because he wont tell then he damn sure does not have my vote.

and that he got in trouble for putting his Christian beliefs in front of popular opinion.
I'm not going to bash you but I strongly disagree with this. In both cases he went against what he swore to do (follow the law) because he knew the laws, or rulings, were not popular in Alabama and he could parlay that into political clout. It turns out it became quite profitable, monetarily, for him also. In other words, he went with what he knew would be the popular opinion in Alabama. I'm going to have a hard time voting for either one.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Trump was there mainly because McConnell is behind Luther and he thinks backing Luther will give him some clout with McConnell..
I don't want to vote for either one, take Luther, he is in debt politically to McConnell because he took his money... not good... Then take Moore he will have a very hard time beating the Democrat..

I'm going to have a hard time voting for either one. For you to be Barney the lawman, you dont have a clue what you are talking about. Moore was already on the Al Supreme Court when the US Supreme Court handed down the Gay Marriage Ruling. So he didn't "know the law" before he accepted the position. The Alabama Law did not allow for Gay marriage until the US Supreme Court overturned the State Law. So your wrong there. As for the 10 commandments, he refused to remove the 10 commandments for the entrance to the Alabama Supreme Court. I still dont understand that one. If you've ever been to the US Supreme Court in Washington DC, you know the 10 commandments are displayed in the entrance way to the court...What's the difference?? Have you even considered maybe this man deeply believes in God and the word of God and doesnt let the degradation of society sway his opinion?

I'm not an obsessed Moore supporter but how the hell do you know that? this election to me is a lot like the Presidential Election, you just hold your nose and pick the least evil of the two. I just think Strange's connection to Bentley reeks, and why in the hell would Washington Republicans spend millions of dollars campaigning for 1 republican against another republican? Why aren't they spending that money campaigning against the Dems? That doesnt pass the smell test

This. I can't vote for Strange. The deal he made with Bentley and now knowing McConnell and his group are spending millions to get him elected is all I need to know. Moore will get my vote two more times in 2017. My vote helped send a message to Washington late last year and they're doing all they can to destroy that vote. Their message...no outsiders in Washington. What really torques me is the Republicans would have been much happier if the beast had won.

Mr. Trump we agree with your agenda but to think that a lobbyist appointed but a crooked govener cashing in on millions from the senate leadership fund to get re-elected, should be our next senator, forget it.
Roy Moore is an ass, and frankly not that much different on issues than strange but the red vote goes against McConnell on this one.

This is the quandary, Either one of these guys will vote for Trumps agenda so thats really not an issue. But as I said before, why are the republicans spending millions to defeat another Republican? Why not spend those millions on defeating the Dems. It just doesnt make sense. McConnell hasn't been a friend to trump so why vote for McConnells guy?

Look Dipshit, he swore to follow the law. when he saw he couldn't do that and follow his conscience, he should have stepped aside. Simple as that. Instead he makes him self the martyr and parlays it into politics and a profitable non-profit. Not my kind of man, not to mention I have good friends that have worked for him and they don't support him. I don't know what your problem with me is, but you should know my closest friends call me Barney, so if you think you are bothering me with that, try something else. Perhaps we should meet sometimes and get acquainted, so we can work out whatever makes you try to be an ass about most everything I comment on.

Check my facts, but I think Moore made much less per year off the nonprofit than his state justice job. Check my info on this as well, but I think Strange is a major stakeholder in Sunbelt EB-5, which is basically a pay to play immigration service. Neither deserve the office but that is all we have to choose from.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
