Which is more likely to vote for the Democrats national agenda of gun control, abortion rights, nationalized healthcare, etc.,etc.? The Democrat or the two goofballs running in the Republican primary? As bad as they are I can't see a single reason to vote democrat. Personally, I would prefer to put one in office that won't get much done rather than one who may help get a lot of the wrong stuff done. I'd sit my ass at home and not vote before I'd cast a Dem vote.
Well.... Here are your choices for Republican: 1. Luther Strange who, in a blatant political move, chose NOT to prosecute the governor in exchange for the Senate seat vacated by Sessions. OR 2. Roy Moore who, in a blatant political move, used the office of Supreme Court Justice to grand stand and gain favor with his followers all the while padding his pocket through his "foundation". What I find the most funny about Moore is that he claims "religious freedom" was part of his courthouse stance. Oh really? Huh. You think ol Roy would have done the same thing over the Koran or the Torah? I wouldn't vote for either of these clowns for dog catcher (sorry to insult any dog catchers reading this).

I make comments about the president and all you ever want to discuss is me. I didn't realize you'd take my post about Trump so personal. J/K. Yes I did. Well Bill,I think I talk about a lot of things other than you.I'm just pointing out that lately it seems you haven't missed a single chance to take a swing at Trump, even here in a thread that wasn't even about Trump. I was thinking you may be auditioning for a job a CNN.

I'll try to lay off Trump since I know it bothers you so much.J/K. No I won't

I doesn't bother me if someone wants to hate on Trump all they want just keep it fair and in perspective. i.e. playing fair consider the alternative and what we'd have today if Hillary was elected?
Shemale Bruce Jenner as ambassador to the UN? Continued complete un-exposed corruption within our Federal Law Enforcement and Intelligence agencies? Of course we wouldn't even know they wire tapped their political opponents so it wouldn't matter to us.
I said during the election you've got 2 choices. You can always not vote but that's not going to change anything. We are stuck with a 2 party system. If you don't like what Trump is doing that is fine but you've got no alternative unless you like transgender bathrooms and more free stuff for everyone Bernie.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Oh, I'm not hating on Trump. I think he's done a few good things. Much better than Hillary. What I see as problematic is a base so enamoured with the name and party they refuse to call him out and hold him accountable when he doesn't do what he promised. His Luther endorsement should cause concern for most conservatives but they can't bring themselves to call Donald on it because "at least he isn't Hillary". That kind of apathy and Carte Blanche gets us deeper in the swamp not closer to what was promised.

I have the same thought process. I’m going to praise him when he does something good but I’m not going to excuse him doing something I disagree with just because he’s better than the alternative. He is better than the alternative but that doesn’t mean we can put it on cruise from here on. My $0.02.

Unfortunately, he's alienating a lot of people because they are much more loyal to Trump than they are to sound government. They absolutely despise anyone who calls Trump out when he goes off the rails, which is getting more and more frequent.

Hi jack intended....
DOUG JONES Good guy that would have my vote in a second if he came out as an independent, or at least convince me somehow he is a Yellow Dog Dem.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

If he really were a independent minded, old school yellow dog , Schumer would change his colors soon as he got to DC. I don't think there are any old school, conservative Dems left in the country. If there are they are mighty lonely.

I see both these guys as the same, maybe one or two clicks off of each other and each with their flaws and skeletons, but basically both representing your average GOP candidate.
Given my absolute hatred for the establishment GOP right now and their inability to get their fists out of each others a$$e$, I'm voting for Moore to send McConnell a message. Maybe it isn't much of a message but it's about all I can give McConnell's anti-MAGA posture right now.
Not really a high confidence vote for Moore, just a protest vote.

In the 60's I heard the term as "Yellow Dog". Big Jim Folsom, George Wallace, etc. Right but yellow dogs towed the party line and blue dogs were the conservative democrats. There are actually a few of them left. I wasn't trying to be a douche and correct anybody. Just curious

I'm thinking Strange is campaigning so hard because he may not be able to get elected in local politics again. Him accepting the appointment from a corrupt governor whom he was in charge of investigating speaks volumes to everyone especially those that are in the district he'd have to run in
