I don't think 1300 is really bad depending on the hours. If you have alot of hours along with that then it's probably been a slow and rough 1300 miles. If the hours are on the lower side then 1300 miles probably haven't been bad on it.

BAM. He is correct. IF it has say 30 hrs, it has been ridden at a faster rate than if it has 200 hrs of put-putting around. I would not be scared of it but not a player at that price.

Less miles doesn't always mean its in good shape.. Letting one sit up is about the worst thing you can do to one. IMO

I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

Bought my 93 years ago from an old man who rode on his cattle farm along the fence line. Never been in the mud when I bought it.

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan

I always hear this, but never seen any proof of it being true. Not doubting, I just don't know.

Well, from a carb and battery standpoint, yes. Every year my uncle takes his 2012 Kawasaki to get a dang carb and a battery to the tune of several hundred dollars. Every year I tell him he needs to crank it and run it. Every spring and summer it sits and won't crank or run in the fall for planting. Rinse and repeat. The newer EFI wheelers I am unsure of.

haleyville al,
Don't matter if it's fuel inj or carb. If it sits you will be replacing injectors instead of cleaning the carbs. If you store it away put sta-bil in it and run it so you know it has made its way into the system. If you don't want to do that then let run for a little while each week.
