Find a market to corner.

If you've got 5-6 thousand laying around, start digging.

Nothing. Work enough as it is. But I would like more money. Mrs Bait is home with the kids

I buy, recondition and sell stuff like little Miata sports cars and motorcycles. It got me through my divorce and several years as a single dad raising 3 kids on my own. I still like buying interesting cars and bikes, fixing them up, driving/riding them for a while and flipping them for more than I paid.

It makes me some extra cash that I can spend on materials for the cabin and on more cars and motorcycles for myself to play with.

All cash transactions.

I'll probably keep doing it well into my retirement.

You have to find inexpensive vehicles that people can afford to pay cash for and not have to get a loan, or you need vehicles like a Jeep, Truck, Miata, BMW E30, Triumph Bonneville, etc... That have a niche following or some sort of intrinsic value to someone or a cult following.

Unlike Hunting or Fishing, it's a hobby where I actually have fun and make money. grin

I have a hunting consultant business. I also guide hunts and I'm an outfitter.

We have a few rental houses and I've gotten into buying mobile homes and doing lease purchases on them.

We also flip houses.

I buy blown 2.5 Mercury race outboards and rebuild them and sell them.

It's more of a hobby than a means of a second income, though.

Interesting thread. I've been thinking of what I can do along the lines of what's been listed here. I want my money to work for me, not just sit around (not referring to investments).

I just work more at my business I already have. That being said, interested in elaborating on how you are leveraging Google AdSense and SEO for supplemental income?

I have thought about this a lot as well. Not much time to do anything with a full time job. I have thought about getting on the Troy University's clinical staff and doing nursing clinicals for either the bachelor or masters students.

Yes. Have to be licensed in the state. Had mine since 97.
