Got home opened them up absolutely junk, looks like somebody took a grinder to the feral, tips not even straight and the blades don't wanna go in to the channel and the ones that do don't sit level with the tip. Smh

Fixed blades? If so, check out thunderhead. I've shot several elk with them and never had an issue. Not even a bent blade.

Surely the pack got damaged. I used them last year and loved those things they are super sharp.

there's nothing wrong with the packaging it's a manufacturing flaw

Where did you buy these? In a retail store or online?

Legit curious: what are the attributes of the Ramcat that y'all like?

I've had good luck with them flying well out of faster bows. I've gotten great penetration and still have pretty big holes for it being a fixed blade. Ultimately, there's several different fixed blades that I would consider tit for tat, ramcat is just what I'm comfortable with.

Ramcat got bought out. They will lose their following soon if quality goes down more.

You will notice the difference in quality if you have been on ramcat's for a while.

Not as sharp, blades bent or broke, and blade attachment screws are weak.

I haven't shot anything with them yet but I like the fact that the blades swing back and are sharp on both sides... Cut going in and pulling out

Pros : they will bust through a front shoulder and still give you a pass through
They fly better and quieter than any broadhead I have ever shot
(No blade windows =no whistling)
The double sided blade sharpening is useless seeing as how they bury up 6 inches in the ground after a pass through .
Iv shot 12-15 deer with them average blood trail length <30 yards.

Cons : the original blades were scalpel sharp but the ends would curl after shooting an animal. ( replaced blades so not a big deal)
Finding a quiver they fit in is difficult
Have to cock one blade to 9 o'clock to clear the riser on my bow .
The new replacement blades fixed the problem with bending the tips but are not near as sharp as they were 5-6 years ago .

I've bought close to 10 packs in the last 3 years with no problem. All blades razor sharp, and no machining issue whatsoever. Id call wac em, they're located in Hartselle. I talked to the owner last year, and he was a very nice guy to deal with.

i'm guessing that you just got a bad pack. I took six animals in Africa with the same Feral, Now , I did have to change the blades. But, i looked at several different brands before deciding to go with the wac ems. they were by far the sharpest out of the pack and flew just as good as any others that i tried.

Yes, I shot Ram kats for two seasons , but i didn't like dealing with the blades and that's why i chose wac ems

Vortex is back in business..killed alot of animals with them. Bought some executioners but never shot anything withem. Killed several deer and hogs with slick tricks and nap killzones. Kilt a few with rage hypodermics as well tho i lost some deer with rages with good shots and ive had some crazy deflection to. I like ramcats and slick tricks for fixed blades work real good on hogs, but the lack of quality is indeed goin to the crapper on ramcats as when i used them about a year ago i noticed they felt lighter an it seemed like the blades would just break like a toothpick on bone especially the tips of the blades. Tho i dont recall losing any critters withem. Didnt use to be like that.. U could dang near shoot cylinder blocks withem an they wouldnt break. Sad the loss of quality we see when companys leave the usa, seems like it happens to everything good and useful.
