The ruts on... I just gotta get through next 2 days of work and ill have 6 days to hunt on grounds I'm familiar with. Just hoping the rains coming aren't real heavy. I'll be up that way in less than 2 weeks so save some for me

Elk hunting sounds a whole lot like turkey hunting. Good luck kodiak! Hope you kill a giant. That is my description of it, except the turkeys weight 800 lbs.

There's a good snow storm that went through Idaho/Montana area and maybe getting some in the mountain area of Washington where I'll be. Man I hope it's still there when I get there. I would love to chase elk and mulies around in the snow. Have the temps cooled down there Oregon to this point yet??
