For the record too, under Alabama law there is more to a Public Intoxication arrest than just being drunk. In a nutshell you have to be drunk to the point of being a danger to yourself or others. I don't know what he did but whatever it was it was more than just typical college student drunk.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

He got a publix intox people. It isn't like he was illegally carrying a gun, a rapist, or shot at a night club.
Suspend him and move on. ^^^^^^^^this What's the world coming to when I agree with Rebel lol Yeah! He was just coming off a 2 day suspension for an undetermined violation of team rules(I heard he failed a drug test). Suspension heck no! Kick him off the team and lets move on. I believe in giving people a second chance but at some point the hammer must fall!
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

So AU's backup QB now is a true freshman and Pettway was the only RB that touched the ball this past Saturday and he's playing injured. Interesting.

Don't they have a 3-strikes protocol for dismissals? First two involve counseling, help, etc., and the third is dismissal?
