I wasn't shocked when LSU fired Les. I was amazed that they thought Orgeron would be an upgrade.

You know, it's really amazing that all those clangas stop clanging when they get ready to snap the ball. You'd think a bunch of drunk rednecks wouldn't have the wherewithal to do that

I think they realized that there wasn't a Top Tier coach to be had. I'd love for Gus to be ran slap out of Auburn, but who's out there that inspires the fanbase and recruits as a proven solid HC?

I'm glad Bama ain't playing MSU tonight.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I'd take Les in a heartbeat if he would hire a top level O Coordinator and promise to leave them completely alone. LSU's mistake was firing Les with no good replacement available. No one could do worse on the field at Auburn than Gus is doing right now.

Les Miles at AU?
Chip Kelley?

With the current situation at Auburn with the softball coach and players I don't think they need Chip Kelly in the locker room. grin

The rumour is that he's gay. Probably wouldn't go over well recruiting in the South.

Thus not needing him in the locker room at this point for Auburn

Yep, you think it was bad with the few female athletes on campus. Get Chip in there and you'd have some issues. I mean AU has some pretty hawt football players, right?
