I can't find an answer to this so far online. If I have a friends son that wants to try hunting that's under 15, does he have to have a completed hunter safety course to sit with me? Thought about trying to take him on a dove hunt next weekend but can't find out if it is required for him to shoot.

The hunter education is to obtain a hunting license which is required at 16, so you should be good.

That's what I thought from what I've read online. Thanks for the reply.
