I've got a late 90's 270 adl which has taken quite a few animals over the years and has the stock trigger in it that's never been touched. My question is can y'all recommend a good trigger and weight for punching paper and a hunting rig? Gun shoots 1"groups with 130 gr psp core lokts(rifle likes them better than any other round off the shelf. Was at the fop range today sighting in a scope and collecting brass for it as I'm about to start reloading for it and it hit me like a sack of potatoes that i want a different/lighter trigger for it. Heck i can't believe I've waited this long as I've put a better/lighter trigger in the other rifles and pistols I've got.

TriggerTech is what I've been using. I've used them all and it's the best bang for your buck at $130 depending on where you buy from.

I really like my Timneys @ 3.5lbs. About $125 depending on where you buy them.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Timney, and never look back.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

My Model 7 needs lightening up just a touch. But my smith died and I don't know where to turn.

Not sure if you find yourself towards Selma/Montgomery very often but I've felt a trigger on a Model 7 that Harvey King worked over and it is amazing.

Thanks guys. Just ordered a Timney 517 flat trigger from midway for $116 shipped. I'll remember the calvin elite model for when i build me a LR remy to play with. By the way anybody shooting rage broadheads 2 blade mechanicals,Midway has a 3 pk for $12 on sale for the next 2.5hrs. Other tempting deals on the sales list also.
