On my test spot with a ph in the 6-7 range, I had a mix that did well most of the year. It may only need a little overseeding this fall, but that may be all, I hope. It was Mihi Persian clover,berseem/crimson clover, arrowleaf clover, durana clover, and 6 point chicory. I didn't have a hunting lease for this was for browse and persistence. I saw deer in it all the time. Anyone know if the reason there is still active clover in it because of the cool rainy summer, or if this plot should be able to persist a typical south Alabama summer?

We've had an unusual summer. It's usually those hot, dry days in the mid to upper 90's that really toast the clover.

I went to Murfreesboro TN and back today for niece's wedding. I left at 2 going and it was 77, got there at 5:30 and it was 62, left there at 9 and it was 57, got here at 12:30 and it was 71. Rained about the entire time I was inside TN. Gas was 2.75 up there
