Anybody got one? Trying to decide between it and a Ruger LCR in .357. Just found a used LCR for 350.00, but leaning more towards the Smith.

Just looking for opinions.

I'd lean towards the Smith as well. I don't have that particular gun but a J frame S&W is nicer and you'll have more options with the grips, etc.. I also like the Ruger SP101. Obvously those are more expensive than the LCR but for the money I just like them better.


No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Had the LCR in my hands the other day and it felt like a cheap plastic toy. Definitely preferring the Smith, but dang they proud of that Lil 340 @ $765.00. May end up with the 642.

Yea,what you are paying for is the weight reduction in 357. You can obviously get a cheaper 357 by choosing a heavier frame.
