I hunt northeast of there above highway 10. Crenshaw/butler line almost splits property in half. Good hunting where I'm at with great genetics. An unusual amount of row crop land on and around us for the area though. Corn/peanuts/soybeans every year help out a ton.

deer numbers are low because everyone murders everything they see around there, good hunts consist of 2-3 per sit. unless you have great luck, you have to really put in your time to kill a mature buck.hunted around there my whole life and the population has steadily gone down because of brown its down type clubs that fill the area

I hunt private land near Georgiana. Lots of deer, but it's hard to find a mature buck due to the kill everything mentality!

I have some friends that hunt just south of Greenville off of Pigion Creek, and they see a good number of deer and kill nice bucks every year.

Does anyone on here hunt between Georgiana and Greenville off of Gravel Hill Rd? How is the hunting in that part of butler county? My brother in laws club is near Greenville. I have hunted there a few times and nearly got a shot on a shooter a couple years ago. I'm not jealous of the genetics hunting in Jackson Co but they do have some decent deer if you can find a club that does good management and lets them walk.
I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan
