That was a crazy game. There will be lots of fines including one on Stafford and half of both teams I imagine after that bench clearing brawl.

It looked like a good tackle to me. It is hard to tackle a QB clean these days it seems.

It looked like a good tackle to me. It is hard to tackle a QB clean these days it seems. Yep, it sucks because I could have sworn football was a contact sport and wasn't for wussies. Heck you can't tackle or block anybody cause somebody might think you are trying to hurt them for crying out loud. They may as well play fag, excuse me, flag football.

Ohhhh, who was the bama player a few weeks ago that took the cheap shot in the endzone? I like fairley more because of the grief he causes the crimson glass wearers. If you don't want him to break your qb .....block him.

Since the first post in the thread stated that he got flagged for it, I'm guessing it's not "just just more crying about legal albeit violent tackles on the qb". If ANY other team had a player doing what Fairley was doing last year and apparently continuing to do in his rookie season, Auburn fans would have had a fit...especially with all the armchair referees over on ITAT. They never miss a holding call on the "other" team.
