back in 1969 I carried my girlfriend, mom, grandmother, and sister to Sumpter Co to look at deer, last of Jan I think. We saw over 250 before dark and another 250 after eating supper in Cuba Al. 500 for the 6-7 hour period.

I saw over 200 in one huge winter wheat field hunting with Dave Barr Tut about the same time frame near Nanafalia.

Couple of weeks ago in Montana, must have seen 200+ in one field.

Estimated around 150 at Night near Enon, FL- Escambia County, FL in the early 1990's.Shining deer was legal then in Florida. Saw at least 200 one Friday evening riding school bus headed to play football at Warrior Academy in Eutaw, AL. The estimated 200 or so deer were around the fields before and after we crossed over the Tombigbee River. This was early 1990's as well.

In 1 field, 67. 66 does and 1 spike. 100+ was common on a night of spotlighting but that was covering a lot of acres.

January 2002 Macon County 76 deer on one afternoon sit.

In 2006, I was going to go nighttime fox hunting in March in Bad Axe, MI. I got there early, and my buddy Ray said "hop in my truck and I'll show you some deer". In driving around during a one hour period, we saw over 1,000 deer feeding out in winter wheat fields. Each large field had at least 100- 150 deer in it, and we looked over about a dozen fields. Since it was March, the bucks had all shed their antlers, but there were some large bodied deer that were obviously bucks.

28 for me which were all doe when I was actually hunting. Something busted them out of a pine thicket. Numerous sits last year seeing 5-15 doe and young bucks. When I was younger we had a club close to sweet water. There was a gf about 1/4 mile from camp where we would see up to 50 a night.

In Texas I saw easily over 150 to 200 in one 300 acre field. Place is crazy!

I guess now you'd be put in jail for it. People used to park and hunt off it.

A couple hundred but they don't count I think. Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains National Park. Last time we went was last year and we only saw about 50 on the 11 mile loop road.

I saw about 50 on US 231 between Dothan and Montgomery a couple weeks ago between 3:00 and 5:00 am. Scared the crap out of me.

I saw 51 in a hardwood bottom on some white oaks about 6 years ago. That was in a 5 or 6 hour sit.

26 all does in Marshall County in a 3 hour evening hunt. This was around 2001-2002. Same farm last year seen 4 does for the entire season.

While hunting ,a couple years ago in December ,I was hunting a hardwood ridge,and had 23 does walk in a single file line within 5 yards of the base of my tree I was in a climber. Not even one was a buck.I had put out some doe per about 15 yards out in front of me and all the deer walk strait past it except the very last one.she walked over near were I put the doe pee.I guess she caught my human scent, because she started stomping her foot and blew,and every one of them took off.Now while out just scouting about 10 years ago my aunt leased the farming rights out to a guy who planted about a 50 sweet potato field me and my wife went down and road around the field about 2 weeks before gun season and seen 100 plus deer in that feild.Well before dark. I WENT back to hunt there the first day of gun season and the farmer had dug up the whole feild.still were plenty of potatoes were scattered around in the field. But it was like the deer did not like them after they were dug up as well. Managed to kill 4 Deer that year there but nothing like I thought after seeing all them deer just 2 weeks earlier.

In one day I saw 27 during the morning hunt and 46 during the evening hunt on a place in Wilcox Co. for a total of 72 does and 1 buck.
