Well I got home from work today and my neighbors dog which is a springer or Brittany spaniel was in the pen with my Boykin, she's been in heat and the damn thing tunneled into her pen today,if she was bred what can I sell the puppies for?not trying to make top dollar but would like to sell them and make a little money if possible,my dog has papers but I just haven't registered her with the BSS yet and I'm sure my neighbors dog is registered, any idea what these pups can bring in?

I don't know about a price or anything about the individual dogs, but you could have done a whole lot worse than a Springer or Brittany. Those could potentially be awesome dogs.

Yeah,I'm not too upset about it other than the neighbors letting their dog run all over the place, they should be some good puppies if she did get bred

I'd possibly be interested in one. I've got a 12 year old Boykin that isn't going to be with us much longer. I said I'd never get another dog until he passed but I've got a son that will be 4 years old pretty soon and it's about time that boy had a puppy.

Same here. My Boykin has been by far the best dog I've ever had and I've had a bunch of them.

I don't know that they will bring much money, but they could prove to be some awesome dogs. If you have a pointing Boykin, that would be something to see.

I've got a Springer, might be interested in the Boykin mixed, especially if helped to mellow out the Springer a little bit. My Springer is a little over a year old and he is a complete maniac sometimes. But he seems like he would make a great bird dog if I had the time to train him properly.

If you have Boykin/Springer pups I might be interested in buying one ... if I can convince the Mrs that is ...

I'd expect to pay $200 to $300 for a mixed breed like this

Top of the line pure bred springers go for $800

I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin

That's about the price I was thinking,I gave $800 for my Boykin and I'm sure this springer was pretty expensive too,my dog is small framed and short curly hair, she may weigh 30lbs and is a very smart calm dog,the springer seems to be a pretty well mannered dog also,if she took I will give Aldeer folks first choice and donate my 3%,I'll keep y'all updated

Mrs is somewhat interested ... if she does take let me know and I'll synch up with her, get you a deposit if she agrees. We would want a female this time ...

I'd go $300 if I could have first pick

My Boykin is 12 years old and she is hands-down the best hunting and companion dog I've ever had. This dog has a large vocabulary and high intelligence. She is a social butterfly. The dog has more friends than I do.

Lots of potential to be a fine fine bird dog that doubled as an excellent pet out of that combo

Got any tips? We have made it through most of the hard stuff, but he is not ready to hit the field yet. I dont trust him to return to me when I call him.
