I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I traveled to Niargia Falls last year and it was still light at 9:00pm. It was very odd to me

I've had friends do stuff almost that stupid regarding float trips. Some of my classmates when I was in HS tried to float Pine Barren creek in flood conditions and didn't make it to the take out by dark. They spent the night on the creek with their families worried sick.
Then there were the guys who tried to float Weogufka creek when there was hardly any water in it. They spent the night too.
At least none of them expected to go in a circle.

I live very close to th eastern edge of the Central time zone and it's still daylight til almost 8pm. I'd imagine people that live on the western edge of the central time zone see well over an hour of daylight after I do. Looking up sunrise and sunset times across a time zone could easily confirm this.
