When you realize that you are intentionally being taken advantage of. Sounds like you are there.

If the club is only for my friends and I, new rules are needed with an increase in dues to cover those costs. If you 4 are part of a bigger club, cut them off from the information train by talking about how your cameras are breaking or you aren't getting out there as much this year.

Everyone has different perspectives and budgets. Some guys spend money on stuff like salt licks and some don't. Maybe your hunting buddies don't see value in these things. Sit down ahead of time and agree as a group on what needs to be done and what doesn't. Lack of communication will quickly end a hunting club arrangement. If your buddies don't won't to spend money on these projects, you still have the option of doing it yourself.
My personal opinion is that everyone has either time or money. It's not fair for some guys to spend time and money while other guys spend neither. It's amazing how some guys can find lots of free time when hunting season rolls around but can't seem to find much time when work projects need to be done. That needs to be discussed.

Did y'all have an agreement to each put cameras and feed out and share info? I've been in several clubs where guys spent a bunch of money feeding and running cameras and I never spend a penny on either. I don't do it because I don't want to and I'd be tickled if they didn't either but I'm not asking them to stop but I'm also not asking them for photos or info either.

"Man, all I've got on camera are does and spikes".
Buddy - "See anything?"
You - "Not a damn thing". Or " Just those damn does and spikes".
Works every time. X2 If they aren't contributing on some way you are being used. Best not to share

Bunch of good stuff fellows. So we are members of a larger club and going into this we agreed to share work and costs for the supplemental stuff. I will say that these guys aren't the most experienced hunters, at least to the extent I've had to gut their deer for them too. It doesn't bother me at all to help people, matter of fact I enjoy it, especially when I feel like I'm teaching someone something. I've only been hunting 12 years myself and wasn't raised hunting, didn't start till I got in the Army so I'm still rounding out things like this. If y'all agreed to share the expense id be on their ass's

I've never understood why folks do so much talking and hanging out at a hunting club.
