I His latest on Asset Confiscation is a big disappointment though. I just don't see how in hell that is legal.

I wasn't a cheerleader but thought Sessions had been doing a solid job. His latest on Asset Confiscation is a big disappointment though. One hell of a jaw dropper

Why would Trump even go there right now?? What’s the point? What is there to gain by throwing Sessions under the bus? It doesn’t make good sense. I think Trump is starting to implode but that’s JMO. Because if he can get the media talking about Sessions you will forget how the Republicans are crapping the bed again with health care. The old saying remains true: if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull ****.

The old saying remains true: if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull ****. I hear you…..folks have been saying that for a while now though……that he’s just using Jedi mind tricks to distract folks while they get real things done behind the scenes. The problem I see with it though is that it’s not really working. He’s just causing chaos and not really accomplishing much of anything of substance. Everyone is still aware of the crappy healthcare bill despite Trump’s baffling bullchit. I imagine he's also losing some support here in AL over what he's doing with Sessions right now. Something to not overlook that came out of his NY Times interview is the fact that he threatened to fire Bob Mueller if he looked into Trump family finances. I think he wants badly to fire him and his compulsive behavior may cause him “to decide to just do it.” Same thing he said with the Comey firing is why I quoted it. If he fires Bob Mueller then that’s when the chit will hit the fan for real. It’ll be interesting to see what happens because Mueller is already digging into their finances and I don’t see this threat stopping him. Trump may soon snap over all of it and decide to "just do it".

I agree with Sessions recusing himself in the Russia investigation but other than that, he's been a real disappointment. I also agree on some points with Trump on Sessions not being anywhere close to the man I thought he was. I really thought he would come in and clean house and clean up the justice department and right a bunch of wrongs that had been done. My opinion now is that he's just another lifelong politician.
Prime examples being: 1.) why has he not immediately initiated an formal criminal investigation into James Comey and his leaks to the press of supposedly classified info and numerous violations of FBI dept policy? 2.)Why has he not jumped headfirst into the Clinton Foundation "pay for play" now that all this additional info has come out about Hillary and Huma arranging preferential treatment and deals for foundation donors? 3.) Why has he not forced Mueller into recusing himself as well? Mueller heading the investigation is in direct violation with written FBI policy. His obvious, long friendship with Comey explicitly requires his recusal and his selecting all Hillary democratic donors to assist on his team with "zero" republican participation/members says a lot about the objectivity of the investigation.
The reason is, Sessions appears to be just as corrupted by power and just as bought into the Washington trash as the rest of them and won'd do his job because he's buddies with the people he should be prosecuting or he's scared himself. Either one of which is wrong and he's not doing the job we as taxpayers are paying him to do. I'm sick of seeing people get away with openly breaking the law and doing things that myself or anyone else reading this would be put under the jail, locked up, and forgotten about for even doing 1/100th of what they are getting away with on a daily basis. They arent even really trying to hide it anymore because they feel they are so privileged that the laws apply only to the "common people" and not them!

Who knows what it will be, but something like Sessions resigns, Trump brings in some bulldog that does the stuff you mention above, ixnays Mueller and takes over the investigation. And media heads will EXPLODE!

Trump just threw his biggest supporter under the bus.....nobody worth a damn is going to want the job should Sessions resign. Who would want a boss like that? Trump basically said "had I known Sessions would do the right/ethical thing, I wouldn't have hired him"..... let that sink in when we start talking about Trump working with congress.
Never mind the idiotic statement about not looking into his business or personal finances. That defies common sense. I knew his ego was really big but its way bigger than originally thought.

If Trump fires Sessions he will have lost ALL credibility with me, not that I matter in the big picture but I sure as Hell won't have any use for him going forward.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

What Trump doesn't seem to get is that because Sessions was on his campaign according to law he has to recuse himself from this investigation. The prez is just venting his frustrations and I hope he doesn't make that very foolish mistake and fire Sessions or make him resign
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

As far as #1 and #2 go, if Sessions is doing it the right way, which I have no doubt he would, you wouldn't be hearing about it in the news. Investigations are not supposed to be done through the media, even though that principle isn't often followed in politics. I have more faith in Sessions doing the right thing than I have in Trump doing right. Trump needs to forget about Russia. Every time he addresses it he is playing into the Democrats hands and the job of fixing our country isn't being handled.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
