Visit George Mann's Wildlife museum in Montgomery. Of course, his place is not indicative of the whole county, but it will give you some idea of potential. As always, it depends on the management.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Lots of variables in Lee County, but overall I'd say its a pretty good county to hunt. Fairly good mixture of size and quantity. Generally not to hard to find a lease to get in depending on your finances. If you want to go public you've always got the national forest.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

His deer were raised just like cattle. Fed hi protein feed year round and never hunted except by him or his family.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

His deer were raised just like cattle. Fed hi protein feed year round and never hunted except by him or his family. They were free range, so it wasn't like cattle. I worked for him while I was in school. He devoted a lot of time and money to getting the most, deer wise, out of his property. He also let Fred Bear and Mr. Jennings of Jennings Bows hunt there, because I made sure they got to his house from the interstate. Bo Jackson also hunted there. Other than him or his family, those are the only ones I know he let hunt there. Worked for him for three years and never got an invite. I did learn a lot about his philosophy on raising and killing big deer though.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
