Well after 23 years of owning vehicles mine finally got broken into last night. Rambled through everything and stole my single shot 410. Had they dug a little longer they'd found my Glock but they didn't. It's kinda my own fault. Went outside last night to get a flashlight out of my truck and didn't lock it back up. My own fault but im so mad I can't see straight.

They hit the whole neighborhood. Several other vehicles broken into and at least 1 other gun stolen.

There was a thread here not long ago about leaving guns in a vehicle. You have to protect yourself. You know thieves are everywhere. It seems if they can steal at will we should be able to kill them that way too. Warnings mean nothing to them.

I guess we're lucky because we always park our vehicle in our garage. Not having a garage is a deal breaker for me as far as housing goes.

Yeah we keep my wife's suv in the garage so she can load the kids in the morning in rain or cold or whatever. I hate a theif.

Been there, done that! A few years back I let Thanksgiving festivities break my routine and I left my truck unlocked. They hit our neighborhood and stole my Knight LK-93 muzzleloader, all my change from my cup holder and my keys. I had a lot of fun finding a locksmith to rekey my house locks on Thanksgiving day!

Seen it pick up in Tuscaloosa/Northport area when the kids got out of school. The vestavia hills area of Northport was getting hit pretty hard a few years ago and it turned out to be a few teenage boys and a girl

I don't know but I can tell you that the Moundville area has been getting wiped out over the past month or so. Last month it was houses. Now it's cars. I have the same wish that everybody does and that's to catch them in the act.
